About

We can’t wait to welcome you to Tacos Kokopelli, the home of bold Mexican flavors with a creative twist. Formerly known as Alley Cat Cafe, our restaurant is inspired by Kokopelli, the legendary flute-playing trickster and fertility deity of agriculture. Just as he brought abundance, we bring you fresh, locally sourced Cambodian ingredients in authentic Mexican dishes. If you’re feeling adventurous, try our Asian-Mexican fusion creations, blending regional flavors with classic Mexican presentations.

Music and community are at the heart of what we do. Join us for our Sunday Sundowner Sessions, an open mic and jam hosted by Joe Wrigley, or catch live music on Friday nights as we celebrate great food and great tunes.

At Tacos Kokopelli, we believe in sustainability not as a trend, but as a responsibility. Our menu features locally sourced produce, sustainable meats, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. We’ve eliminated plastic water bottles in favor of free chilled water, use low-energy LED lighting, and recycle our cooking oil through Naga Biofuels. Our packaging is biodegradable, because good food should never come at the planet’s expense.

Come for the tacos, stay for the vibes. We look forward to seeing you soon at Tacos Kokopelli!

Best Tacos in Phnom Penh!

I had an incredible experience at Tacos Kokopelli! The tacos were absolutely delicious, especially the carne asada and al pastor options. The flavors were authentic, and the ingredients were fresh. The staff were friendly, and the vibrant atmosphere made the whole dining experience fantastic. Definitely my new favorite taco place!
